The name "Alyira" is inspired by the myth of the Australian Aboriginals, which tells how all beings that live on this earth are connected by a dream, or what they call "The Dreamtime" or "Altjeringa." "Altjira" is the great spirit that reminds men and women of the need to care for, preserve, and protect this "Dream."

We believe that music has the power to always connect us with this message, to make us dream together and from that dream, gradually, transform our collective reality, our world, into a better place, where human life and nature develop in harmony.

"Alyira Sounds" is a project born from many journeys. All our compositions have as their ultimate intention to remind us that we are "traveling seeds", that our time in this place is brief and although we are inspired by the legacy of the sound traditions that give us the most beautiful of the past, they also allow us from there to dare to innovate and share our most genuine and authentic side.
